Video cameras are one of the most valuable tools in the drain cleaning business. We use specially designed waterproof cameras to allow our technicians to conduct a visual inspection of your sewer lines and other underground pipes. This includes pipes under cement and under your home’s foundation that would otherwise be very difficult or costly to inspect.
A video inspection allows us to pinpoint the problem, and potentially solve it without having to waste time and money destructively digging to reach the pipe. In the event digging is necessary, by pinpointing the location that needs to be repaired our staff can ensure the bare minimum of digging is necessary for the repair. Video inspection is done when a professionally trained and skilled technician inserts a rod with a high-resolution video camera on its tip into your sewer lines. These high-tech drain cameras are flexible, allowing them to travel through twists and turns in sewer lines. These cameras thoroughly examine pipes and pipe walls in drain lines from 2 inches to 36 inches in diameter. If there is a problem we can see it.
The video footage is transmitted to the technician in real-time. You’ll be able to view any problems right on a monitor, and footage is saved for future reference. We show you exactly what we see so if we recommend any repairs you will have documentation of why they are necessary. During a sewer camera inspection, radio transmitters on the drain camera record depth and physical location of any defects or obstructions it encounters in the drain line. In addition to the visual evidence transmitted by the drain camera, this data allows plumbing technicians to accurately diagnose problems and recommend solutions. Sewer line video inspections take the guesswork out of solving your drains problems and ensure all drain problems are identified and solved the first time.
